About the Board
The Indian Board of Aesthetic Medicine Practitioners (IBAMP) is a nationwide professional board established to standardize non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic practices for registered medical doctors across India. Working in close collaboration with IAMAC, IBAMP ensures that Indian medical practitioners adhere to strict safety protocols, evidence-based dermatological therapies, and ethical patient care.
Aim & Objectives
Standardize National Clinical Protocols: Establish uniform practice guidelines tailored to South Asian skin phototypes, hyperpigmentation tendencies, and aesthetic concerns.
Medical Practitioner Upskilling: Provide registered doctors (MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS based on scope) with continuous medical education, hands-on workshops, and board credentials.
Promote Ethical Practice & Safety: Advocate for patient safety, strict regulatory compliance, authentic medical-grade products, and transparent consent processes.
Local & Regional Research: Drive clinical research focused specifically on skin types common to the Indian subcontinent and tropical aesthetic challenges.
Indian Skin & Aesthetic Research
IBAMP invites medical practitioners, clinical researchers, and dermatological scholars to submit original studies, clinical trial results, and case reports.
Focus Areas: Treatment of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), melasma protocols, laser safety on Fitzpatrick Skin Types IV–VI, injectable safety, and regenerative therapies.
Submission Guidelines: Manuscripts must include clear clinical trial design or before-and-after photo documentation with standard ethical disclosures.
